Kitchen Story – A Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio Project

An immersive sound-driven narrative set in a university kitchen, designed and mixed in 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos.

This project explores how spatial audio can transform a simple late-night cooking scene into a dynamic storytelling experience — blending realism, subtle horror elements, and object-based sound placement.

Recorded using Ambisonic and Double MS techniques, and rendered in both ADM (Atmos Master) and binaural formats.

Focus areas:
• Object-based spatialisation
• Ambisonic ambience capture
• Custom impulse responses
• Loudness calibration (-23 LUFS)
• Binaural translation

Sound was used not just to support the story — but to drive it.
