Across these projects, I was responsible for shaping the overall sonic identity of each film, from pre-production planning through to final mix. I designed and built the soundscapes to enhance tension, realism, and emotional impact, focusing on subtle detail rather than exaggeration. This included dialogue editing, noise reduction, Foley integration, ambience construction, and final mixing. Particular attention was given to dynamics and spatial placement to support narrative beats — whether in intimate domestic drama or contained thriller environments. My approach prioritised restraint, clarity, and psychological impact, ensuring the sound supported the story without overwhelming it.

About
Save The Spinister
Final MA project: Save the Spinster, a character-driven rom-com about a woman confronting the pressure of turning 40 while navigating a chaotic matchmaking lottery — only to discover that love may have been beside her all along.
As Sound Supervisor, I managed end-to-end post-production, delivering a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos mix in Pro Tools. The sound design shifts between heightened comedic awkwardness and grounded emotional realism, supporting the film’s transition from satire to intimacy.
